Timeline - Survey Drawings

This month we have uploaded the final survey drawings of the Sally Port Hotel in Old Portsmouth. As expected it proved to be a difficult building to survey, described as one of the worst our surveyor had seen in 15 years in terms of level and verticality.

It was advised that architects who tender for this project visit the building before hand, this will help them understand the nature of the building and any survey limitations.

Everyone was very happy with the survey results and although the tolerance can't be within 10mm as it is on most normal building surveys, the tolerance within this drawing should be no more than 25-30mm which allows for undulating levels and vertical wall alignments. This should be more than adequate for any designs, we look forward to seeing these in due course...
